Who We Are
Hello, I'm Laura (the business owner). I live in Queniborough, Leicester with my husband, two boys and two dogs.
I started my finance career back in 2012 doing bookkeeping for a bespoke joinery company, fell in love with all aspects of the accounting sector, and undertook levels 2 and 3 AAT qualifications. I am an AATQB bookkeeping member, as well as a licenced bookkeeper.
During my time, I've worked in three accounting practices (over the course of 9 years), overseeing hundreds of clients in my portfolio, as well as worked in industry for joinery and steel construction companies, and have decided to branch out and work for myself in order to fit around my cheeky monkeys.
Our clients range from sole traders to partnerships to limited companies, with a range of backgrounds including farming, construction, and consulting to hair and beauty salons, shops, eateries and many more. However we do specialise in providing support to service based businesses.
No endeavour is too small or too large, too easy or too complicated to work with us, and newly started businesses are also welcome.

Rachel became a valued member of our team in September2025, having years of bookkeeping experience at a wide number of industry firms and accountancy practices. She possesses extensive expertise in streamlining process, client management, running payroll, and the training of staff on a variety of bookkeeping software. After seeing the insides of accounting practices first hand, Laura began to feel that a lot of practices nowadays are all about crunching the numbers and making deadlines, and less about helping the individuals coming to them for their services by making their lives and work much easier. She wanted to set up a business that provided not only the necessary things such as bookkeeping and VAT returns, but also to help with everyday admin tasks, with a niche in help those who offer services rather than products. This could be creating and sending out invoices, managing post, answering customer or supplier phone calls, paying your suppliers, writing letters etc.
We're here for whatever you need, including a cup of tea and a shoulder to cry on!
